Entomologists have identified more than one million different species of insects, which accounts for more than two-thirds of all known organisms on earth. Insects are also some of the planet\u2019s most long-standing inhabitants, as they have been around for about 400 million years.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column_inner][\/vc_row_inner][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/2″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Jim<\/td>\nJim Fredericks, Ph.D.<\/strong>, is the vice president of public affairs for NPMA and <\/span>is responsible for<\/span> educating consumers about all <\/span>facets<\/span> of pest management and <\/span>providing<\/span> a unified voice to protect public health and property from harmful pests.<\/span> Jim is also NPMA\u2019s chief <\/span>entomologist<\/span> and<\/span> his Ph.D. research involved subterranean termite foraging behavior.<\/span><\/span><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
